Audiobooks

I volunteer recording and narrating audiobooks at CNIB, and with the standards they have, I can't believe that there were different voices in an audiobook you actually paid for (unless it was intentional, for different characters or something).

I mean, the books that CNIB produces are free for any visually-impaired Canadian, but there are still strict rules about having only one narrator per book (or magazine article), with the exception of multiple-POV books, in which case we'll "cast" different voices for the project. When I hear mistakes in commercial audiobooks, I always think "Man, that'd never pass at CNIB."

And yeah, in wireless routers, LAN ports = physical Ethernet jacks. Any wireless network stuff would be referred to as "WAN". There shouldn't be any fixed limit to WAN connections. As for the wireless USB adapters, I know some people that use them, but I'm not sure of any particularly reliable brands offhand.
